Bishop Lenley Newland, originally from Trelawny, Jamaica, developed a strong faith from childhood. By 18, he embraced his calling, serving as a youth leader and evangelist. In 1974, he became a pastor, marking the beginning of a remarkable ministry spanning over 46 years. His journey led him from Jamaica to the UK in 1989, where he served in various leadership roles within the New Testament Church of God, including Evangelist Director.
A passionate church planter, Bishop Newland founded Redemption Faith Worship Centre (RFWC) and has preached across Jamaica, Aruba, Grand Cayman, Canada, the UK, and the USA. His commitment to spreading the gospel is evident in his leadership, teaching, and humanitarian efforts, including prison chaplaincy and social care.
Academically accomplished, he holds degrees in theology, Church Management, and Clinical Counseling, earning recognition from institutions in the UK, USA, and Germany. His service extends to the United Nations as an accredited International Chaplain and Ambassador-at-Large. A respected author, Bishop Newland has published books like The Spirit of Individualism and COVID-19 A Divine Wake-Up Call.
Now residing in Ontario, Canada, he continues his mission while cherishing family life with his wife, Julet, four daughters, and grandchildren.
